Remaking the Soundtrack - Creaks Gameplay Intro (2023)

Creaks (2020) is one of my favorite video games, and the soundtrack plays a big part in setting its atmosphere. I was inspired to do a remake of the soundtrack for the gameplay intro and try to introduce the underground world of Creaks in my musical style.

Soundtrack for Memento (fashion video) (2022)

"Memento: a reminder of a time and space" is a fashion design graduation project video by my good friend, Natasha Viodora. I composed an atmospheric and dreamy track to match the concept Natasha was going for.

Glitched Whispers (audiovisual project) (2021)

“Glitched Whispers” is an audiovisual piece I did in 2021. The visuals were generated from a 3TrinsRGB+1c video synth, a V-4 video mixer, a Kaoss Pad, and a small security camera. The resulting video footage was shot by the security camera from an analog TV.

The visuals generated by the video synth was layered with ghosting effects and recordings from the security camera. I did the compositing, added effects, and color correction in Adobe’s Premiere Pro, then ran the entire clip through Signal Culture’s Maelstrom to add more feedback and clip effects. For the soundtrack, I did an ambient-glitch piece, with processed Gong samples, pads, and granular sounds.

Monochrome Visions (audiovisual project) (2021)

“Monochrome Visions” is another audiovisual piece I did in 2021. The visuals in “Monochrome Visions” used the same equipment and techniques as the above video, "Glitched Whispers".

This time, I ran the entire video clip through Signal Culture’s FrameBuffer and added chroma key clip effect. The soundtrack consists of samples from a Make Noise shared system and a Korg Prologue.

A Splash of Serenity (p5.js project) (2020)

“A Splash of Serenity” is my first audiovisual project created using a website called p5.js, which is a JavaScript library for creative coding. Most of the sketches in this project are inspired by water movements, flowing, wave-like, and calm. They imitate the movements of ocean waves, water droplets, bubbles, and the flow of rivers. They are simple and smooth, with several ‘splashes’ coming in and out of the ambience every now and then. To match this concept, I used hues of blue as the color palette.

The soundtrack, which is written to complement the visuals, portrays its tranquility and intensity with its piano and electronic elements. It is flowing and dynamic, resembling a cycle, as the piece develops and comes back to its calm beginning at the end.
